This past weekend, Brad had a baseball tournament in St. George. It was my first time traveling there, and it did not disappoint {minus the 40 degree weather and pouring rain}. That place is gorgeous. The red rock was so vibrant, and against the storm clouds looked even more extreme. Everywhere you looked there was red rock. It was a nice climate change from the valleys snowy mountains. It's not normally stormy in March, we just happened to go down on the worst weekend in weather history... Next weekend it's supposed to be 80 degrees {go figure}. Come on St. George, give us a weather break. Oh well, I still loved it and it didn't disappoint. Although most of my weekend revolved around baseball games, I did spend a few hours perusing downtown. They had one of the coolest stores, Urban Renewal. If you are ever in St. George it's a must! That place was UH-mazing. I could have stayed in there for hours. So many unique finds. I would have bought a deer head, but they were almost $300... I think I'll just wait until my husband brings one home someday. *hint *hint. Anyways, it was a great weekend. Oh, and I spotted my first polygamist at Costa Vida. Am I allowed to say that on my blog??? Well I am. I wanted to take a picture, but I thought that'd be awkward. Gotta love Southern Utah.
But seriously, it was so beautiful, and I can't wait to go back.

Wow! It is so gorgeous! I have yet to explore a desert that actually was beautiful. (I don't think Las Vegas counts because I saw nothing like this.)
ReplyDeleteAlso, you can definitely talk about the polygamist on your blog. I should know, I watch Sister Wives. ;)

P.S. I mentioned you in my post today. I understand if it's not really your thing but I thought it might be fun.

Haha totally allowed to say that, it's noteworthy because most people probably haven't seen any! These photos are so stunning molly, I'm picturing all kinds of scrapbook or frame possibilities!
