A sit-down Sunday dinner rarely happens in our place, because we're usually getting stuff ready for the Venue {college group}, or running around meeting with various people. In-N-Out and Costco dogs tend to be our Sunday go-to meals.
Every once in a while a Sunday will roll around when there's not much going on... Like this week. In which case I will cook an actually sit-down meal. I made my favorite red sauce and mizithra cheese dish... mmm mmm mmmmm. Mizithra cheese is way underrated... Wouldn't you agree?
We sat at the table {not the couch}, and ate a meal together. It was glorious.
With baseball season, college ministry, and every thing else in between --- a sit down meal rarely happens during the week. It's usually me making the meal, and us running out the door or being home at different times in the evening. It's not always like this, only in the Spring.
This time of year, a good sit-down meal is always a sweet surprise and I savor every minute of it.
