February, thanks for the great start to this fresh new month. I really needed some warmer weather {meaning 30 degrees}, clean air, and sunshine. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm okay with you being an entire 28 days.

Fridays are my day off, and since Brad is working, I usually take the day to clean and relax. Somehow, I always end up walking to a cafe a few blocks away, but just to order coffee... Because there's nothing better than grabbing a cup of coffee, people watching, and reading {am I right or am I right?}. This time, I decided to grab bite to eat, since they have a few gluten-free options on their menu. How amazing does this curry tempeh look??? Well, let me tell ya, it was g-o-o-d. Really good. I scarfed every bite. I also spent some time walking around the charming neighborhood right next to downtown. I love the houses around these parts, they have so much character, and remind me so much of Corvallis. The house with the ivy is one of my favorites. I walk / run by it often, and just gawk over it. It's so darling and perfect. I tried to snap a shot without anyone noticing. what would I say if they caught me??? Uhhh.... Sorry, I just really admire your house and want to post it on my blog? Yikes. It's the truth, but doesn't sound too normal when I type it out.
Have a happy weekend everyone.

I'm glad you're having a great start to February. Here in Florida we started Feb with a chill that came out of no where, lol. I wish it were warmer.
ReplyDeleteIs that from Guru's? Love that cafe!
ReplyDeleteYes! I love it too! So so good :]
DeleteThis looks like the most fabulous day ever. I hope the weather warms up (or is at least sunny) in Seattle so I can go on a fun walk like this, too

I love looking and oohing and aahing over different houses--especially ones with character and charm--so I definitely get what you mean about the whole take-a-picture-before-someone-sees-you-thing. I usually end up chickening out and don't even take a photo, though. But I agree with you, that house with the ivy is darling. So cute and I love how cozy it looks!
ReplyDeletep.s. I love people watching, too! :)
