girl time in california

California was too good to me when it came to spending time with just the girls. I am so thankful I was able to spend so much time with my mom, sister, and other family members. I love girl time, and we had a lot of it. We spent a day shopping in Pasadena, and a day browsing around Palm Springs. Oh, and we ran into Marilyn Monroe {such an awkward picture, but I had to include it}. I still can't believe that less than a week ago I was in weather that didn't require a jacket... I'm now back to 10 degree weather and wearing a parka everyday. Oy vey.

  2. Loved seeing the pictures from your trip, Molly! We were in the desert too and why did I not know about the XXL Marilyn statue??? I grew up going to Palm Springs, but I guess that's why I've missed out on all the fun touristy things! Hahaha. P.S. I am loving that outfit in the top photo. Had to pin it!

Oh yeah, and I've always been amazed at how many different climates there are in our country. And even just on the west coast!

  6. That Marilyn cracks me up! It was in Chicago until last spring and I would walk by it often. Once I was on a business call and my client wanted to take his picture under it. So awkward!
