Christmas came early this year! Since we're headed down to California for Christmas, we decided to celebrate early. We didn't want to lug our gifts on the plane, so we had our own Christmas... On the night of our anniversary actually. Fancy that. We set up a bed by the Christmas tree, opened up our Christmas PJ's, and fell asleep to a Charlie Brown Christmas. We may have slept terrible on the ground, but it wasn't comfort we were going for, it was the experience. We woke up early, Santa stuffed our stockings with goodies, I made a breakfast casserole, and we opened gifts from each other. Santa brought me a JUICER! I was so excited! One of my New Years Resolutions is to give up sugar and eat more fruits and veggies, because I want to feel better. My mom refers to me as her "medical mystery". I am. I always seem to get sick. In the fall I went off sugar for 2 weeks, and I felt amazing. AMAZING. It's not about losing weight, it's about feeling good. I just want to be healthy. Not to mention Brad and I have been watching nutrition documentaries like crazy. I can't believe all the crap that's in our food! A change is in order... and 2013 is our year for a healthy change.
We spent the entire day watching movies and relaxing. Later that night, Brad took me out on our anniversary date {which I'll share with you later this week}. It was a fun little Christmas.
Merry REAL Christmas Eve to everyone tomorrow! Brad and I will be hustling and bustling in the airport.
