Everyone looks half asleep, because they are thanks to the unhealthy amount of food consumed.
Don't you just love thanksgiving? I love eating my body weight in food, spending time with family, and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In the morning, we spent time at my parents with some of my extended family. In the afternoon, we headed over to my in-laws for dinner, pie, and games. My parents and in-laws have done thanksgiving dinner together for the past three years, and I'm so grateful for that. I'm so thankful that our families get along so well. I know it's rare, and it's something I don't take for granted. I'm thankful that my siblings and their spouses always have thanksgiving with us as well. I love my family so much, and I'm so blessed to consider them some of my best friends.
Being home for thanksgiving made me wish we were still in Oregon. But at the same time, I wished that they would all move out to Utah, because I love Utah so much. Maybe someday I can coerce them into moving to the mountains.
Hope you all had a lovely thanksgiving, and spent it with those you cherish most.
