Brad went hunting on Saturday, so I spent the day solo. Usually I'd be a little lonely or disappointed, but I really needed some alone time, and Brad really needed some manly man time. Plus, since Brad didn't have a football game on Friday, we were able to have our date night on Friday instead of Saturday. I still felt like I got husband time, which is something I need weekly. So, Saturday was awesome, and I did everything I wanted to do on my own schedule. A day to myself is a must every once in a while... Or else I can get cranky. Just ask anyone who knows me well :] I treasure my alone time sometimes.
So, here's what I did...
I also managed to get lost in Draper {supposedly they have a Starbucks... or at least they did... Map Quest led me astray}, paint my nails, AND watch the Beaver game {6-0, baby}!
Oh, and in case you were wondering, Brad did get a deer. More antlers for this girl.

WooHoo! Yummy venison : )
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a fabulous and productive day. I love alone time, too! Especially when life has been crazy busy.

ReplyDeleteBrad got it online last fall for my birthday. He just googled leather journaling bible. They are pretty pricey, but a really great investment and I love mine so much!
