First things first, friends... Yes, I got bangs. And yes, I'm aware I look even younger now. Maybe bangs weren't the best idea, considering I already get confused as a high school student when I go to Brad's football games. Some things never change {like my age, apparently}. I won't complain about looking young though, because in twenty years looking younger won't be such a bad thing.
This past weekend, Brad and I went to the park for a picnic... An In'N'Out picnic that is {is there any other kind of picnic?}. Not in the Kidd home there isn't. We indulged in greasy goodness, and proceeded to lay on a blanket... Not doing anything. We just laid there. We had intentions of reading, but both of our brains weren't in the mood to think. So we just laid there. Brad napped most of the time, while I laid on my back looking up at the trees and blue sky. There won't be many more sunny afternoons where we'll be able to do this. Soon it'll be cold... Really cold. Even though I'm ready for the leaves to change and finally wear baggy sweaters and boots... I will miss warm summer afternoons in the park. Brad and I are taking advantage of these last few summer days.

That sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeletei love the bangs! and those boots are super cute!

bangs are always a good thing...keep us looking fresh, and maybe a bit younger. in n out is ALWAYS a good idea! love my fries well-done and my shake chocolate. mmmm.
ReplyDeleteOkay, having a major In N Out craving now... Yuummmm.
ReplyDeleteAnd this looks heavenly. I'll miss Summer afternoons like these when it's rainy and freezing outside!
There isn't a lot to do after eating In N Out EXCEPT lay around! isn't it fun to live near one? And by "fun" I mean fattening and awesome.
ReplyDeletelove pic nics! you look good in bangs ;)
ReplyDeletecute outfit molly! and in-n-out is always a great lunch choice :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it. And is the "lettuce bun" an option on their menu, or do you special request the lettuce instead of the bun? That's such a great idea. I'll have to start asking for that in the fast food joints around here in Atlanta. We'll see how many funny looks I get :) Probably more than just asking for the bun on the side.
ReplyDeletethat looks so good! cute outfit too!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing-is it on the menu or do you request it! Those "lettuce bun wraps" are a great gluten alternative. I love your blog, very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThanks! If you have a gluten allergy or gluten intolerance, you can let them know and they will make it separate from their other food. If you don't have a problem with gluten, you can ask for any burger protein style and they'll give you lettuce instead of buns :)
ReplyDeleteFirst, I love the bangs on you! So adorable and chic. Second, thanks so much for the GF tip on In n Out! I just saw it in your comment section. I am sad we don't have In n Out here, but when we go out west, I am getting a lettuce wrapped burger, for sure. Thank ou!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you're happy looking young! I just started grad school and keep getting confused with freshman - it's hard not being offended and accepting that I'll still looking younger 20 years from now.
ReplyDeleteI love In N Out, what is the secret code for the lettuce wrapped burger?
ReplyDeleteNo code! Just protein style!
DeleteHi Molly,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you even read your comments or anything but I'm a new reader and I was wondering, would you do a tutorial on that totally cute top bun? It's SO cute and I've been looking for something quick and easy to do with my hair. Thanks
