the week {more like year} that flew by

I have no idea where this week went. Frankly, I have no idea where this year went.

I'm sitting in front of my computer, trying really hard not to fall asleep, because I really need to get things done. Why do I always have stuff to get done?I just want a break. It seems like I haven't had a single moment this week to just stop and be. I just want to be. I never allow myself to rest, and I think the Lord is not so subtly telling me I need to slow this band wagon down and just be for a little while. This going 100 miles a minute thing isn't all it's cracked up to be. I know I'm such a doer, planner, and always say "yes" person... but that's not always a good thing. It starts to catch up with ya. Even if it's a lot of good things, too many good things can turn into a bad thing. I'm starting to figure out that my random moments of tears and mental breakdowns aren't necessarily a healthy thing. So, with that said, I'm spending a few hours this weekend to just be. I'm taking Matthew 11 v. 28 up on it's promise. You should try it. Give yourself a break would ya.
