One of my best friends, Laura {the really adorable girl with the red hair} is getting married in June! A little granola bar bridal shower was in order on Saturday morning. I had such a fun time decorating and preparing for the shower with all of the lovely bridesmaids {in the last picture above}. Laura's sister, Emily, was the brains behind the shower, and she did such a great job coordinating and planning. Everything about the shower had Laura written all over it.
I was able to drive down on Friday night to Eugene with Kelley, so we could spend some quality time with the bride-to-be. All of the bridesmaids stayed the night at Laura's and watched Bridesmaids, drank wine, and laughed at literally every line in the movie. However, I did fall asleep on the couch a quarter to midnight... I tried so hard to keep my eyes open, but I just couldn't do it after this long week. I do have to say that Friday night got me even more excited for the bachelorette party. I love girlfriends, they're the best.
I'm so glad we were able to spoil this sweet girl before her big day. She is truly such an incredible woman, and I'm so blessed to call her one of my best friends.
Let the wedding season begin!

Cute! I love the little pantie set cut out of a paper doily. I need to remember that for later. My sister-in-law had a panty party, and then when she and her mom threw me a party, they included the panty party too, haha! So fun.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea!! everything looks beautiful!! alright - enough blog stalking for today. : )
ReplyDeleteI just got back from my friends bridal shower and she's a bit of a crazy girl so we were seeking for something exceptional. Every single one of us got a personalized scavenger hunt shrit and the bride had to check off topics off our shirts throughout the night… we punished the bride with numerous drinks and absolutely everyone had a great deal of laughs. Identified an excellent web-site that lets you customize your own t shrits, mugs, post cards tons of other neat things.
