heart brownies with cream cheese frosting

Who doesn't love chocolate & cream cheese? Especially in brownie form and shaped like a heart? Every Valentines day I have to bake either cookies, brownies, or cupcakes {or all three!}. And of course, I have to dye frosting pink. I found similar heart brownies on pinterest, and was inspired to make my own version. I was going to make them with a raspberry or strawberry frosting, but my valentine doesn't like chocolate and berries together {I know, weird, right?}, so I decided to use cream cheese frosting instead.

Honestly, all I did was use the Betty Crocker gluten-free brownie mix, and pillsbury cream cheese frosting. That's all. Once the brownies were cool, I used a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out hearts. For the frosting, I used pink food coloring. I then made little brownie heart sandwiches. Voila. So simple. I brought them over to my in-laws and they were a hit!

Easy, affordable, and perfect for valentines day.
