cinnamon chocolate crunchies

{ uh hmm... notice i'm figuring out picasa by the collage photo above . i'm discovering all of it's awesomeness and wondering how i ever blogged without it ! }

cinnamon chocolate crunchies
you guys , these gooey treats are to die for . the combination of cinnamon and chocolate is delicious ! they are so yummy and beyond easy-peasy to make ! enjoy !

ingredients
1 box of cinnamon chex
1 bag of milk chocolate chips
1/2 cube of butter
1 medium bag of marshmellows
non-stick baking pan [doesn't matter the size , it depends on how thick you want your crunchies to be , i used a 9x13 pan ]
spatula

recipe
1 . in a large microwave safe bowl , combine the marshmellows and butter . heat on high for 1.5 minutes . take out of the microwave and stir . place in the microwave again and heat for another 1.5 minutes . take out of the microwave and stir .
2 . immediately add the cinnamon chex into the bowl and mix . mix until all of the chex are covered with with the marshmellow goo .
3 . evenly spread the crunchies on a non-stick baking pan .
4 . spread the entire bag of milk chocolate chips evenly on top of the crunchies .
5 . turn on oven to "warm". place the pan of crunchies inside of the oven until the chocolate chips begin to melt .
6 . when the chocolate chips are melted , take the crunchies out of the oven and spread the chocolate chips over the crunchies evenly with a spatula .
7 . wait until the chocolate chips harden [ i usually wait until the next day to serve them , because they are better the next day ! or speed up the process by placing the crunchies in the fridge for a few hours ].
8 . enjoy ! all your friends will want the recipe !
