i love the oscars .

every year , i'm amazed at how elegant and charming they are .

my favorite part is seeing what the women choose to wear .

here's a list of {in my opinion} the best dressed from the oscars .

love , love , LOVE her look . her gown is amazing , and i love her choice of eclectic gold / green jewelry . not to mention she's one of my favorites , and she was brilliant in the fighter .

okay , hi , gorgeous . i have a feeling that ryan reynolds is kicking himself for breaking up with her . can i just say that i love this color , the fit , the lace , the back . it's all together stunning .

this gown reminds me of anthropologie . and anything that reminds me of anthropologie is a great thing . i love the beading and details . the touch of yellow makes the gown . she looks gorgeous .

so chic . i love her simple , yet edgy look . she always looks so put together . this is one of my favorite looks of hers for sure . not to mention , i'm obsessed with her hair .

love this gown . usually i'm not a huge fan of purple , but this pastel is really pretty . it looks gorgeous on her skin tone . i love the draping . so pretty .

{side note: can i just say that i'm loving how modest gowns are becoming "in" again . i've always thought they were much more tasteful and elegant}

i wish i had an excuse to wear one of these gowns . for now {and probably the rest of my life} i will live vicariously through these red carpet gowns while sitting on my couch , in my pajamas , with no makeup on , watching the oscars . i'm perfectly fine with that , but a girl can dream right ?
