diy " be mine " necklace .

i love sundays , because i don't feel guilty nesting in my home &&& doing crafts .
i'm so glad god made a sabbath day { a day of rest . } he knew we needed that extra day to keep us sane , and i thank him for that !

anyways . . .
i made this necklace for valentines day ;] { hence the title , " be mine " necklace . }
1 . because i'm too cheap to pay for one .
2 . i have lots of extra fabric laying around that needs to go to good use .
3 . these are just too darn cute to resist making !

{ everything you'll need to make a neckalce }

-hot glue gun
-fabric { enough to make a few fabric flowers , if you don't know how to make fabric flowers , check out this post . }
-fabric scissors
-sheet of felt
-permanent marker
-ribbon
-jewels / or pearls { if your heart so desires . }

{ instructions on how to make the " be mine " necklace }
1 . create as many fabric flowers as you want on your necklace . { for directions on how to make fabric flowers check out this post . } ALSO . . . make sure that you only cut the fabric in 1" strips instead of 2" , because you want the flowers for your necklace to lay flatter .
2 . add jewels or pearls to your fabric flowers with a hot glue gun .
3 . arrange your flowers how you want your necklace to look .

4 . hot glue the flowers together .
5 . trace the flower arrangement onto your felt with a permanent marker .

6 . cut out the tracing on your felt .
7 . cut two 2' lengths of ribbon , hot glue the edges of the ribbon so they don't fray .
8 . hot glue the back of your flower arrangement . place the ribbon where you want it to go on your flowers . place the felt over the top of the flowers and ribbon . press down . wait for the hot glue to dry .

9 . when it dries , flip it over , and you have yourself a " be mine " necklace !
