it seems like we were just saying "i do" &&& in sunriver for our honeymoon.
marriage has been such a joyous adventure.
in this past year i have learned more about brad than the entire 5 years we dated.
i have enjoyed every step of our journey together.
for our one year, i wanted to give brad something really special.
we wrote our own vows, and i knew i wanted to incorporate those in some way.
it's easy to get caught up in life and forget those precious words we spoke to one another.
i decided to frame our vows, so we could have a daily reminder of the love and commitment we share.
{ta da!}
to celebrate our anniversary, we took a trip to seattle.
we love seattle, it's such a fun city.
we spent a lot of time right in the heart of downtown.
we sat in coffee shops, people watched [we love to people watch. boring to most, but entertaining to us.], walked around pikes place, visited the greatest gluten-free bakery [the flying apron!], and read through song of solomon [i recommend reading through song of solomon to all married couples, you will learn how to truly appreciate and treat love.]
it was so good to get away and reflect on our first year of marriage.
we had such a great time &&& lots of new memories were made.
i am so lucky to have such a loyal, handsome, trustworthy, and christ-seeking husband.
bring on year two!
"my soul has found the one whom my heart loves." {song of solomon 3:4}
aww that sounds wonderful. i've been to seattle once and i loved it! happy one year and best wishes for many more to come : )
