the boys watch football, we do a craft.
it's perfect.
this thanksgiving, we decided to plant paperwhites.
not only are paperwhites the easiest flowers to plant, you barely have to take care of them in order for them to bloom.
i love the thought of having something blooming during the winter.

we purchased the bulbs, gravel, and soil at a nursery. & we purchased the pot at ikea.
the entire project came to $5.
how to plant paperwhites:
-fill most of the pot with gravel.
-place bulbs on top of the gravel (at least 1.5" apart).
-cover the bulbs in soil (optional).
-water the bulbs.
-place the pot in a cool place for 48 hours.
-put pot wherever you please. (mine is on my dining room table.
-enjoy watching them grow & the lovely aroma.

{me, my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, my mom, my sister}
can't wait to watch them bloom!
Once upon a time I planted these and they did not grow. I have whatever is the opposite of a green thumb. : ) Good luck, lady!
